Citizens of Myanmar need to apply for China visa and Tibet Entry Permit if they want to take tour to Tibet. The China visa could be applied for in the consular section of China embassy in Yangon, but they have to contact a local Tibet travel agency to for the application for Tibet Entry Permit.
In order to apply for a China visa, Burmese citizens need to go the China embassy on NO.1, Pyidaungsu Yeiktha Road, Yangon. Its open hours are between 9:00 and 11:00 in morning and 14:00 to 15:00 in afternoon. The embassy is closed during both Chinese and Burmese public holidays.
