Wuhan is the capital and largest city of the Chinese province of Hubei. It is the most populous city in Central China, with a population of over 10 million, the seventh most populous Chinese city, and one of the nine National Central Cities of China. It lies in the eastern Jianghan Plain, on the middle reaches of the Yangtze River's intersection with the Han river. Wuhan's history dates 3500 years. It was the location of the Wuchang Uprising, which led to the downfall of the Qing dynasty and the establishment of the Republic of China.

Wuhan Tianhe International Airport
Wuhan Tianhe International Airport (IATA: WUH, ICAO: ZHHH) serves Wuhan, the capital of the Hubei province. The airport is located in Wuhan's suburban Huangpi District, around 26 km (16 mi) to the north of Wuhan city center. It is the busiest airport of central China as it is geographically located in the centre of China's airline route network. The name Tianhe (天河) can be literally translated as "Sky River"; it is also one of the names for the Milky Way in ancient Chinese.
Since January 1, 2019, passengers from 53 countries such as EU countries, Japan, Korea, Russia, the U.S., when traveling to a third country, can enter China from this airport without a Chinese visa for up to 144 hours.
Means of transportation to the airport:
Two tolled expressways, the S18 Wuhan Airport Expressway and the S19 Wuhan Airport 2nd Expressway, connect the airport to downtown Hankou.
There is a limited bus service between Wuhan Tianhe Airport and several bus stops in the urban area of Wuhan.
The Wuhan–Xiaogan Intercity Railway, one of the lines of the Wuhan Metropolitan Area intercity railway, serves Wuhan Tianhe Airport. This railway opened in December 2016.
The extension of Line 2 of Wuhan Metro to Tianhe Airport opened on 28 December 2016.
Lhasa Gonggar Airport:
Lhasa Gonggar Airport (IATA: LXA, ICAO: ZULS) is in Jiazhulin Town in Gonggar County, Shannan District, Tibet Autonomous Region. It is located on the south bank of the magnificent Yalu Tsangpo River at an altitude of 3,600 meters. It is one of the highest civil airports in the world. The Gonggar Airport covers a smaller area and operates fewer flights than most airports in the world. And there is only one terminal building with one entrance and one exit in the Gongga Airport. The shuttle bus, bound for the Civil Aviation Bureau at the foot of the Potala Palace, is parked only 5 meters from the exit. The ticket fare is only 30 yuan.
